If it were me I would not add communities. Less is more. I think all Nostr devs are making this mistake - the desire to add more features.

After carefully reviewing nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac feedback, I realize that I struggle to explain things clearly to new users. Some features make sense when you have data, but for new users, they can be quite confusing. Here’s what I’m working on to improve the experience: - Add a proper onboarding process to give a brief introduction to the app. - Make the folder feature optional - it’s useful for organizing 100+ chats, but for new users with fewer than 10 chats, it can be confusing. - Add a contact search feature for easier connections. - Add a self-chat option for saving notes. - As a chat app, it feels pretty boring when you have no contacts or ongoing conversations. You open the app and just see a blank screen. Trying to create a new user was a total pain, I don’t like the flow it took me to. Far too many steps for a good experience. 4. Jarring to be taking out of an app into a browser… 5. I really don’t understand why I couldnt just enter a name and be done. 6. Skipped the relay stuff because it looked confusing at first glance. I think this broke my experinece down the line. I don’t think any average person will figure this step out… or maybe they’ll actually pay attention who knows… 7. Could not add myself as an npub to send to 8. Could not type karnage@zap.stream - probably due to relay issues 9. Could not initiate any chats 10. Crashed, see video. 11. The double columns were confusing, not sure why settings opened in another column, expected an overlay

Yeah I like the QR function. I guess I just haven’t seen a dead simple implementation of it. Always buried in technical details

Bunkers enable scan QR to log in and that's a simple and familiar UX.

Log in with bunker is so dumb. No normal person will understand what that is. If this is our best UX we’re toast.
