The older I get the less patience I have for nonsense— I don’t understand how people can get rugged by the fiat economy over and over again and not want to totally quit that system. It’s just engineered crisis after engineered crisis and you see it happening in fiat crypto, too, where people are still able to engineer token supply this way and that. Just tiring to watch.

I don’t see too much conflict in the Saifedean—Saylor interview. Seems like Saylor is arguing for what the transition state to the fully bitcoinized world looks like, which includes cash yield on btc. Saifedean’s mind is at a place where nobody wants fiat. I think Saylor’s vision is likely near term and even could be very long term. I am preparing for both. Have enough bitcoin if fiat goes to zero, and have enough fiat that can carry you if bitcoinization takes a century.
