I've gotten into the late stages of the interview process so many times this year only to be rejected that there's a small petulant part of me that's like, wanting to reject these folks first. At least then I would feel like I have control.
I don't have control I have to accept that. All I can do is give my all even at risk of rejection. Ah sometimes it's hard to human 😭

What Nostr platform does the best long form content? I want to polish up some essays to present here, but a bit separate from my standard notes so that my notes are more short commentary like tweets, the long form essays are separate from my notes feed. Let me know what you think! Yakihonne? Habla? Flycat? Does it matter? I don't fully understand the pros and cons of using one vs the other

Question for you! Here on Nostr is it better form to silo personal brands from each other? That was par for the course on legacy social media. Or can we be whole-ass weird people who are doing it all?
So for example I've been posting stuff about personal life, the psychic research I've been doing as a hobby, the GATE program I was part of as a child, all under the pen name that I've been using for my pending novel about a psychic school.
I had been thinking my "day job" as an economist I would get a position in another institution eventually and have that professional career kind of under LinkedIn and my full name. Now I'm wondering if maybe I just start doing some independent research and I could post it here, but I suppose that might be better done under a separate account? This market seems super oversaturated on Bitcoin content, but would there be any demand for other types of macroeconomic analysis? I could also do targeted micro reports but I'd need to think through what micro questions might be in demand for a broader audience.
Just sourcing opinions so I would love to hear your thoughts!

On a scale of 1 to 10 how bad of an idea is it to flirt with a biker gang?
For context when I first came here I looked up where to get a burger and ended up at this very very small place that seemed mostly like a liquor store. But they did let me go in back where there was a small bar and they did make me a burger which (while not what I ordered exactly) was very good! They were very friendly to me, and then the entire building emptied out so they could all watch me drive away. Apparently Vespas are absolutely hilarious to macho men bikers.
Anyways I drove by there on my way for tacos today and I guess there's a party or something because there was maybe 50 of them out front. I waved and they all laughed. Idk it could be fun! I'm thinking most of them are probably just retired grandpas and not meth dealing rapists right? Maybe that being a nonzero chance should stop me out of good sense? But do I have good sense? Is good sense any fun?Hmmm 🤔🤔🤔
I just feel like I could make friends and then be super cool and ride with them and have a backup gang if the feds ever come for me/my seed phrase ya know? It's good to be friends with all sorts of folks I think!

Tonight I've been reading and watching about bioelectricity and how to improve these connections for health, especially within the synapses of our minds. This isn't explicitly stated in what I've been consuming this evening, but I can't help but feel like there is a connection between the electricity our bodies are producing and our experience of the spiritual energy. Where can I find a neuroscientist/shaman who can test this theory?

The root issue is not boning time but the economic situation and probably stress. People just dont make enough to be able to afford more kids. It doesn’t help that women don’t have much support from their husbands in terms of hands on help because they are always gone.

In a perfect world, how much time / bandwidth needs to be dedicated to boning? Obviously these all work no play cultures are failing to reproduce. But how much play: work ratios lead to success/fertility? Even in US things are very consistently stressful from capitalism, could we improve fertility by decreasing that survival stress?
