Is subscribe a better term than follow?

I unfollow friends all the time when they are in a hissy mood. It doesn’t mean anything, I just don’t want their day rubbing off on mine and sometimes unfollow is the easiest way to clear your timeline for a few days. Muting works but then you forget to unmute. With unfollow you still see their notes if others reshare and you don’t forget they exist - I think it’s better than mute. Sometimes we get annoying to other people temporarily (who isn’t guilty of that) and that’s ok too. Other times it just posting too much at once or posting things about an issue people don’t care about - point is it can be any reason without any permanent judgment of that person.

I don't judge... People can unfollow me if they wish too. I am aware. I have a friend here, that I know on real life that also unfollowed me. You would never guess we are friends and talk outside Nostr. It's weird, but I do respect and let him be.

Mood mismatch. Person A in one mood, person B in another. They unfollow for a while. Refollow later. Honestly, follow label is not a very good way to judge relationships. Need some better way.

I guess I get lucky, I usually don’t even prune and get a ton of tomatoes. Oh I forgot I had limes, bay leaf 🍃 plant, rosemary, avocados, lemons. All had to be cut down 😿 super sad

I need serious tomato plant pruning education for next time. I can get them 6 feet tall in no time, but not so much fruit.

I had a blackberry wine for several years. I kept cutting it and it kept growing back wilder every time and always a ton of berries.

I don’t have one at the moment. I had to tear down the one at the rental when I moved. It’s a bit late to plant stuff but I may still try a few things. Our summers get really hot and not much grows unless you protect from the sun and I don’t usually. I’ll eventually plant some lettuce, peppers, arugula, tomatoes, parsley, basil, herbs, onions etc

The gnats hung out in the soil so nets didn't do much. Slowed down watering a tad, and sprayed some neem and soap water, which seemed to work. Yesterday a side planter of sage and thyme that was coming in nicely got decimated by two little green worms... sadness. Show us your garden/yield!!

I usually cover with net and it seems to do the trick for most bugs

Think it's hearts of Romain, but we weren't sure in the end. Long story, but planted 3 types of lettuce and a pest ravaged it repeatedly before I took serious measures (hidden cam, netting, and a trap), so we seem to have only gotten one type of the 3 in the end, but forgot what we planted exactly! Not our favorite lettuce, but too late to plant more
