Trying traditional social media after using #jumblekat feels like stepping back in time and wondering why people still use that crap.

Quick #jumblekat updates (some of this is from last night, I'm not superman haha). Acquired domain x21.social -- this will be the new client soon. - Themes - light / dark (Slate, Gray, Zinc, Neutral, Stone) - Ai prompt widget in sidebar - now you can prompt in a widget that is always visible - Logo change - not really liking it though, will change again. - Button style: outline - Corner radius adjustment on cards and feed - Adjustable title font size - Prompt web searches directly from your note composer with /web <your prompt> — useful for replying with specific results. - Language relay recommendation. This looks at your browser language setting and recommends a relay for that language. - Better organized appearance tab - Option to display block height on the bitcoin widget - Improve layout for accessibility / visually impaired - Improved image upload handing (preview images instead of inserted as links). - Added ability to add alt texts to images - Added a new option to display media in full width in the note -- currently Shakespeare is finishing an option to toggle logo to a text logo instead of an image. Btw, you can set up your own translations now via Open Router in #JumbleKat 1. Set up an API key in AI settings 2. Choose Open router as your translation engine. It'll now translate your notes if you click translate. I'll add an auto-translate option as well.

THE GIFS ARE HERE #Jumblekat update 1. Gifs. Now you can insert gifs from the note composer. Click the Gif button, search, select. OR use the Slash command /gif to instantly see a list of gifs. These are not your ordingary gifs, no API was used. These are nostr events. Every time you post a gif, you create a nostr event gif. With gifs you also have My Gifs tab. Here, you can upload gifs, or insert from a URL, and they will be stored locally as your gifs for quick access! 2. Jumblekat.com is back! Boooya! 3. LIST SHARING, BABY! Sharing is caring. Make a list? Share it. Yeeeeep, these are INVITE PACKS. You can now invite people to join nostr with your favorite npubs. What does this mean? It means you can curate your friends' feed for them so they are not looking at random strange npubs they don't know of. 4. Slash commands -- or the beginning of. Starting with /gif and soon to be many many more commands (I think). I'm thinking of doing something with this as well.. super special secret thing I have in mind. Try it all at jumblekat.com

YUGE addition to #jumblekat I stayed up way too late to vibe this, and its not perfect, with a few issues, but will be fixed up another night! LISTS You can now browse lists right in your client. You can favorite them, PIN them to your DECK layout (need DECK PICS!!) Sharing (in nostr and to outside world) coming at some point... And even create them.. though this I have not tested to see if it actually works. If your sidebar is getting too crowded, disable lists in Settings > General > Hide Lists. Some say it'll be beautiful. But, I don't know, we'll have to wait and see. Magnificent features. GN!!!

Quick #jumblekat update: 1. Added Reads (long form content) You will now see a tab in the navigation (as well as mobile nav). If you don’t want to see reads, you can disable them in the General settings. 2. Added Reads to profiles. Now you can see a new tab in people’s profiles to see their articles. 3. Added a white theme (background is white). 4. Quick #jumblekat update: just added automatic image conversion to webp - this will shrink the file sizes considerably and help reduce mobile client bandwidth.

You can now prompt notes in #jumblekat ! Need a perfect response, or want to argue a point till you've wasted your entire day? No problem.. now you can have copy/paste ready responses to always prove your point! I'm joking.. please don't use it for that. But, I can't stop you. I don't know, I just thought it MIGHT come in handy for some notes containing topics you may want to explore further. Of course, it'll get abused by the 1 of 2 people who are actually using this fork of Jumble. For now the prompting only works with text, and needs lots of refinements over time.

#jumblekat updates for the one person who actually cares! Jumble Deck - turn your standard layout into multi-column. Pin searches, hashtags, profile, notifications, relay feeds, go wild! To enable this, just go to Settings > Appearance > Full Width > Multi-Column. Onlyzaps mode - hides the reaction button Added option to also zap on reactions - so any time you react, it’ll do a quick zap as well. 2 birds one stone. New widget: Bitcoin ticker. Updated and improved widgets menu (re-arrange widgets) Pin notes to sidebar. You can now pin any note to your sidebar as a widget! Found a note that inspires you?
