Why we don't embed beautiful storytelling motifs in architecture like they used to bafffles me, everything tends to trend to a square box these days.

Today I opened up a Figma and just hit overwhelm in buttons and menus. If you think nostr is confusing with choices and options, a design tool that is packed end to end like Figma takes it to a whole new level, now especially with the AI tools embedded in.
I've used a bit of Figma but its been a long time since I checked it out, it is the Adobe photoshop/iillustrator of this decade.
I am certain most people would just hit close and copy/paste from the web but I really wanted to dig into one of the nostr files. Its really great stuff for design.
thanks karnage for putting it together.

Good taste is the tricky part. Everyone thinks they have good taste but thereβs always better taste.

Good Design is a constant stream of making good choices with good taste that is difficult to quantify.

First....a lot of the vibe coded stuff will break when everyone is forced to upgrade to React 19, and then 20. π If you vibe React, and don't know how it actually works, you are F'd. Trash will get washed out, like always.
The clear as day difference between actual engineering and posers is that one knows how to scale, architect, and maintain over long periods of time as well as pivot, and those who can't won't, well, they don't. If you don't understand the fundamentals you'll get wiped out anyway just like in every tech boom.
Taste matters as well. A lot of bad taste floating around and fakin' it till you make it even on the UI/UX side will catch up eventually.
AI is great at boilerplate, but boilerplate is not the next billion dollar breakthrough. Humans still have to make the final judgement call on AI output, solve hard problems that haven't been solved yet and develop creative new things, with the assistance of AI.
just my 0.02 cents

Itβs funny how with vibe coding nobody cares about anyoneβs apps anymore.
Before you had to put in the effort - and people valued effort to give an app some attention.
But now you can make a crappy but working version of whatever in a few minutes. Low effort - low interest from people.
Even if the vibed app is more interesting and has neat features, people still donβt care because less effort went into creating it and itβs not as scarce anymore.
Scarce availability- people pay attention
Abundance - no one cares.
Based on this it might be safe to conclude that weβre not likely to see more people on nostr just from more vibe coding.
We canβt forget that the people we think weβd attract here are vibing their own apps, and burning out on their own AI playground.
So what does this all lead to?
I imagine down the road our AI tools will be so powerful but abstracted that youβll just connect wherever and whenever without even needing to create anything. Itβll just be on demand via whatever medium you choose. Question is: how far away is this? And what happens in between now and then?

not talking about yours but some other rather suspicious ones that rarely post with 10,000+ follows.

Best thing you can do as a new person here is to engage in comments on other notes. If all you do is post - no matter the quality of your notes, they are not likely going to be discovered. You have to get on peopleβs radar first for them to be curious about who you are.
Real pfp automatically gets more attention because most of us are nyms. Ai human pfp will likely get ignored (scammer spidey senses)

Context switching is hard but its also nice to give the brains a relax and do something creative instead of just grinding through tasks. The more frequent switching, the more neuroplastic and calm I feel.
