Yes, the issue of poppy cultivation is almost fully eradicated
But, some citizens are desperate because that's how their whole lives have been spent doing things.
And, some criminals are even taking advantage of making synthetic drugs.

no need to worry โ that issue has already been addressed.
When the Taliban returned to power in 2021, one of their first steps was to ban all poppy cultivation and help rehabilitate those struggling with addiction. Alhamdulillah !
