#history In 1793, one of the most famous Corsicans in the world, #Napoleon Bonaparte, was forced to flee his hometown of #Ajaccio, driven out by Pascal Paoli's supporters. It was from this tower (filmed this winter) that he set sail with his fleet. The Capitello Tower, located in Porticcio at the very end of the Gulf of Ajaccio.
